job Description Position: Programme Officer (Dialogue, Peace and Social Cohesion) Location: Harare Employment Type: Fixed Term Reports to: Programmes Lead Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Lead fundraising and resources mobilisation for the Programme Pillar • Lead the development of the Pillar and support Project Officers to achieve planned results • Lead and coordinate implementation of programme activities and projects • Monitor programme and project performance, budgets, workplans, and deliverables • Ensure compliance, consolidate and timely submit quality narrative and progress reports and other stakeholders • Produce knowledge products regularly and facilitate documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and best practices • Represent the organization at relevant meetings and coordination forums as assigned • Support management for high level stakeholder engagements with Government and other stakeholders • Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Peacebuilding, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Conflict and Transformation, or a related field • At least 3 years of relevant programme or project management experience including senior programme Officer position • Demonstrated experience in implementation of projects related to Dialogue, Peace and Social Cohesion. • Strong report writing, planning, coordination, and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage How to Apply • Interested and qualified candidates must complete the following two steps: 1.
