Job Description JOB ADVERT: FITMENT CENTRE TECHNICIAN Location: Harare We are a reputable automotive fitment centre specialising in general vehicle services, batteries and tyres. We are seeking a skilled, hands-on, and customer-focused Fitment Centre Technician to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Carry out basic vehicle services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups • Inspect vehicles and provide recommendations on battery, tyres, and general service needs • Fit, test, and replace automotive batteries • Conduct battery diagnostics, charging, and fault identification • Perform tyre fitting, wheel balancing, alignment checks, and puncture repairs • Ensure all work is carried out to high safety and quality standards • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness • Provide professional and courteous customer service • Assist with stock handling, workshop records, and job card completion Qualifications and Experience Requirements: • Certificate or Diploma in Motor Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a fitment centre or automotive workshop • Strong knowledge of batteries, tyres, and basic vehicle servicing • Experience with wheel balancing machines, compressors, and diagnostic tools • Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and servicing tasks • Good communication and customer service skills • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision Key Competencies: • Technical and mechanical expertise • Attention to detail and accuracy • Problem-solving and fault diagnosis • Teamwork and time management • Strong safety awareness How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their CV and certified copies of qualifications to salesvacancies62022@gmail.com no later than 25th July 2026.
