Job Description Location: Harare, Zimbabwe Join the Ultra-Med Health Team Ultra-Med Health Medical Aid Society is a dynamic and growing medical aid society committed to providing innovative, affordable, and quality healthcare financing solutions. We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Data Analyst – Membership to join our team and play a key role in managing, analysing, and maintaining the integrity of our membership data. Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain accurate member records within the membership management system. • Analyse membership data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth. • Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc membership reports for management. • Monitor member registrations, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements to ensure data accuracy. • Reconcile membership data with employer schedules, broker submissions, and premium collections. • Develop dashboards and performance reports to support strategic decision-making. • Identify data inconsistencies and implement corrective measures to improve data quality. • Collaborate with the Finance, Claims, Sales, and ICT departments to ensure seamless data integration. • Support product development and marketing initiatives through data-driven insights. • Conduct data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance exercises. • Assist in forecasting membership growth and retention using analytical models. • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with organizational data governance policies. • Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and member experience. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or membership administration. • Experience in the medical aid, insurance, banking, or financial services sector will be an added advantage. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data modelling. • Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases. • Experience working with membership or customer management systems is desirable. Skills and Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present meaningful insights. • Strong report writing and presentation skills. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
